Dr. Shah has spent his career delivering outstanding care and advancing our understanding of gastrointestinal diseases. He has authored numerous publications related to inflammatory bowel disease and served on the National Patient Education Subcommittee for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. His clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer screening, chronic diarrhea, gastroesophageal reflux disease and fatty liver disease.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading, exercising outdoors and catching up on his favorite shows.

Dr. Shah has been recognized as a Top Doc 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.
