When you or someone in your family isn’t feeling well, you want care quickly. With MyBSWHealth, you can access virtual urgent care providers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
MyBSWHealth connects you to Baylor Scott & White Virtual Urgent Care providers who can see patients in Texas aged 2 or older. How to schedule a virtual urgent care visit
What can be treated during an online urgent care visit?
You can receive care for many conditions through virtual urgent care, including:
- Allergies
- Eye, ear and mouth pain
- Head lice and tick bites
- Lower back pain
- Minor headache
- Respiratory infections, such as colds, COVID-19 and the flu
- Skin and nail concerns
- Sprains and strains
- Stomach concerns

Please keep in mind that some conditions, such as headaches, lower back pain, and sprains and strains, cannot be treated during an eVisit and may require a video visit or in-person care .

When to go to the emergency room instead
Telehealth urgent care options are not appropriate for emergencies. Call 911 if you are experiencing a medical emergency, such as an overdose, a stroke or symptoms that require immediate attention, including chest pain, seizures and difficulty breathing.
Getting ready for your online urgent care appointment is as easy as 1-2-3
Here are some tips to ensure a successful video visit:
- Make sure your device is plugged in or fully charged before your visit.
- Use the MyBSWHealth app or Google Chrome on your computer or tablet for the best experience.
- Make sure you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
- Have headphones available if you need privacy or audio assistance.
- Choose a private, well-lit space where you’re less likely to be interrupted.
- Be in a stationary location rather than walking around or driving in a car.
- If prompted, allow your camera and microphone to access the app.
- If the appointment is for a minor, parental or guardian presence is required for the visit.
Having trouble?
- If you’re having trouble accessing virtual urgent care, ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi or cell signal.
- Try restarting your device or using a different device (smartphone, computer, etc.).
- For video visits, make sure you have completed the eCheck-In, as this is required for the Launch button to appear.
